Prashant Mehrishi

Principal Lead

Prashant oversees the Geneo learning platform’s practice for teacher uptake. He has developed and successfully led “i-Teach,” a start-up focusing on Teachers’ Professional Development (TPD) and School Transformation Systems, bringing with him 23 years of work experience in a variety of industries, including Education, BFSI, IT, etc. His goal in Schoolnet is to work towards the adoption of Edtech by all stakeholders in the school ecosystem, which will eventually be beneficial for everyone. He has extensive leadership experience in the insurance sales industry as well as in the education, startup, and development sectors.

Vagish Jha

Academic Lead

At Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, Vagish K. Jha acquired his academic training as a historian from luminaries like Romila Thapar, Aditya Mukherjee, and Sucheta Mahajan. His employment as a teacher at an international school in Delhi marked the beginning of his involvement in the academic world. Then, he led the initiative "Education International" (EI), which provided the whole range of Indian educational products to the global population. EI was a one-of-a-kind cooperative venture of UGC that included all four nodes of the Indian government's educational agencies: Indira Gandhi National Open University, National Council of Educational Research Training, and University Grants Commission.

Lubaina A

Academic Coordinator

Lubaina has excellent knowledge of both science and English and has 13 years of experience in academia, including teaching, training, and content creation. Her career has included teaching science and English, developing projects for Brain Café QuarC, serving as principal of a K–12 school, and serving as academic head for the Meghe Group of Schools. She is very interested in transdisciplinary curriculum development and pedagogy of teaching and learning. Her area of expertise is the study of educational systems like Dutch Education and Integral Education. She currently works as an academic trainer, providing training to teachers and school administrators.

Shraddha Ghumre

Academic Coordinator

Academician Shraddha is really interested in understanding more about how cognitive sciences may be used to create effective learning ecosystems. She is a big supporter of the contribution that networking, critical thinking, collaboration, and model-based reasoning can make to the creation of knowledge. She supports the concept of creating Communities of Practice to reform CTD programmes in the field of critical digital pedagogy. She works too much and is a scholar in the department of Science Education Research at HBCSE (TIFR), but she also tries to sneak time to read and occasionally write.

Subeer Kangsabanik

Academic Coordinator

Subeer is an innovative designer of educational ecologies who has a keen interest in progressive pedagogies, science education philosophies, and educational technology. He is eager to put them into practice in order to develop effective instructional design for learning models. For more than a decade, he has been investigating the topic of learning. He has worked and partnered with prestigious organizations including the Royal Society of Chemistry (U.K.), Eklavya Foundation (NGO), TISS (Mumbai), MIT, Cambridge (USA), HBCSE (TIFR), and M.P. State Biodiversity Board. He spends time engaging in carpentry, painting, and photography because he is, at heart, a free-spirited person.

Sriparna Chakraborty

Manager

With over 10 years of expertise in content development, instructional design, English language teaching, and online tutor training, Sriparna is a creative and inquisitive English language expert. After earning her master's degree in English literature with a concentration in education, she began working as an instructional designer for companies like McKinsey & Co. and Cognizant, creating material according to project specifications. She subsequently pursued her dream of being a full-time teacher and joined prestigious Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan institutions in the far-flung north-eastern regions of the nation. She is presently concentrating her efforts on becoming a part of the educational technology revolution, which she thinks would equalise access to education for kids from low-income groups, minority populations, and geographically dispersed communities.

Srijani Guha

Project Control Coordinator

Srijani Guha has been a mentor and a participant in academic projects for more than five years in the academic field. She specialises in biotechnology and has primarily taught biology in traditional classroom settings as well as online. She sees herself as a well-organized professional with knowledge of the current curriculum and syllabus as well as teaching and mentoring abilities. She constantly looks forward to teaching pupils and giving them a positive educational experience.

Partha Ghosh

Assistant Manager

Senior member of the academic team Partha Ghosh serves as a major anchor and teacher educator for Schoolnet's tech-enabled classroom. With more than 25 years of experience, he is an expert in the field of education and training. He holds a post-graduate diploma in computer & systems management and is a science graduate with a penchant for using information technology in numerous disciplines. He is also a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), a RedHat Certified Engineer (RHCE), and a Google Certified Educator (GCE L-1). He served as a corporate trainer for numerous offices' automation for a considerable period of time. He can sing well and makes great Bengali cuisine.

Laxmi Parwani (Dr)

Student Engagement Officer

A recipient of the Young Scientist Award with 14 years of research experience and 9+ years of teaching. Dr. Parwani has taken part in a number of national and international conferences, and in several of them, she was recognized for her outstanding presentations. She has worked as the principal investigator on projects approved by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, despite having a research focus on medical and environmental biotechnology. Dr. Laxmi Parwani has three years of work experience in top ed-tech companies in India. She is a member of reputable scientific committees like the Indian National Science Academy, the Society of Plant Research, and the Biotech Research Society of India. She also serves as a reviewer and editor for Current Nutrition and Food Science, Recent Advances in Food, Nutrition & Agriculture, and the Journal of Pharmaceutical Research International.

Sanchita Lal

Training Lead

In 2017, Ms. Sanchita Lal began working at Schoolnet India Limited. She has over 10 years of experience in the education sector and is currently a senior manager. She earned her MBA in management from the ICFAI Business School and has experience lecturing to graduate and postgraduate students. She also leads the adoption and training campaigns for all of our ed-tech projects in India and is a Google Certified Trainer. Sanchita, a fervent digital user, has empowered teachers all over India by leading seminars on Google Workspace for Education and other online tools.

Urvi Yadav

Academic Coordinator

Urvi holds a postgraduate degree in commerce and a bachelor's degree in education. She has seven years of experience teaching economics and has previously worked for prominent institutions including Lingaya's Vidhyaeeth and the Manav Rachna Group of Institutions. She truly believes that "Education is the most powerful weapon which we can use to change the world," as said by LT. APJ Abdul Kalam, and she is committed to making education less difficult and more enjoyable.

Abhinav Datta

Academic Coordinator

Mr. Datta, who is currently employed with SchoolNet India Pvt Ltd in Noida as an academic coordinator, has experience managing a multitude of activities and projects. And several of those projects have won awards in competitions and events held on a national scale. Additionally, he has published research and review articles in both an Indian academic journal and a reputable foreign publication. Abhinav is continuously working to accomplish the holistic development of his pupils since he firmly believes in it. He feels that education is a continuous learning process that combines earnest efforts with hard work to produce achievement.

Asmita N

Researcher

Asmita is a development specialist with ten years of experience in the nonprofit and academic sectors. She is very interested in fusing the fields of practice and data to improve development programmes. She is curious about issues involving quality and size trade-offs while developing large-scale programmes. Asmita assists business divisions at Schoolnet in developing educational solutions and evaluating their success in order to improve the caliber of our goods and services. She hopes to do multidisciplinary research on current social challenges affecting the lives of children, adolescents, youth, and women after earning a PhD in Human Development and Family Studies. She is a research fellow and the International Society for the Study of Behaviour and Development's Early Career Scholar Grant winner.
